Understanding Odds Types at nova888
Before you start betting, it helps to understand how odds work. nova888 supports multiple odds formats commonly used in Asian and global sports markets.
Asian Handicap
The most popular odds format in Malaysia. A handicap is applied to the stronger team to level the playing field between both sides.
Over / Under
You predict whether the total goals or points in a match will be above or below a set value.
Mix Parlay
Combine multiple match selections on one ticket. All selections must be correct to win, but the potential return is much greater.
1X2 (3-Way)
The classic three-way format: home win, draw, or away win. A good starting point for new players.
Each odds type calls for a different strategy. Experienced players often combine Asian handicap with team statistics to make more data-driven decisions. For more guidance, visit our Betting Tips page.
